This 22-inch pistol is very similar to our Dutch Wheel Lock, only with a slightly more rounded butt and a more pronounced lock area. Designed from an example smithed by Felix Werder in 1640, the overall design is typical of standard-issue military wheel locks of this period, and would be an ideal side-arm for anyone of central-European persona.
